Keep updated with Mungs progress by reading his letters, he is having a fabulous time at Koto learning many new skills and has given his permission to publish his letters on our site. We visited Mung on our last Vietnam Culinary Tour and presented him with a huge goodie bag full of everything he will need to co ntinue with his hobby of drawing. He was thrilled to receive our gifts and then Mung showed us some of his work. He really had some fantastic drawings. Below is a picture of Mung presenting me with a beautiful thank you card.

How are you and your family ?does your work go well ? your grounp is running well now ?
I have got a field trip with koto family .I was very happy , I drew the places I have visited for you .but it doesn't nice ,but I hope you will understand that .
now I'd like to tell you my field trip with koto family . we beqaa to leave from home by buses .it took us a half of day .we arrived hue hotel after that.next we connected with koto SG and shareprake four teams like "dragon,torlle,unicorn,phonix''We swam,had dinner went to the LANG CO beach,that all for one day with happyness.We got back hotel and sleep next day we went together to the DN hotel and visited some places like MINH MANG temple,THIEN MU pogoda and DONG BA market.After that we come back the hotel and had dinner together the third day,we swam on the CUA DAI beach and had BBQ there also.In the afternoon we come back to DN hotel and had dinner CAU DO restaurant,finished the third day next day we visited the all streets of HA we walked around in HOI AN ,especialy we got some pictures of those to ceremony for that field trip.Finally we said good by with KOTO SG
Even though we haven't know each after for long time but it was very important to me at the time we were saying good bye we sad and cried a lot .
That day the wheather very hot it make us very tired ,but I now better we'll be back to our work keep continoue my dream that become a good chef one day.

Firstly, I wish you all the best things.
How are you and your family? I am sorry, it has been a long time I did not send you any letter. My studies are so very busy here.
Here, I am very healthy and I learn in KOTO for about 8 months. I have gone through nearly a half of my way. Look back, I have studied a lot of skills. I practiced a lot in the restaurant. I think my English is much better than last time. I also studied 10 recipes like (Stock, soup, sauce…..)
Ms Huong, my staff told me that you will visit Vietnam again in August. I hope when I meet you, I can speak English with you. I really look forward to meet you.
I have to study now and will write you later. I think study hard is better for my future, I think when I have experience in 24 months, I will become a good chef. I study very hard.

How are you and your family doing?
I would like to introduce something about myself.
My name is Mung. I am 20 years old; I am class 18 trainee in KOTO.
My hobbies are listening to music and drawing and I hate to be cheated. When I am happy, I usually talk quite a lot, but once I feel bad, I just want to watch the rain, or I would like to draw, draw my own dreams and find out my happiness through those creatures.
I would like to tell you about the weather in Vietnam. There are 4 seasons in my country, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Now it is in the middle of the winter, it is very cold. The climate and atmosphere are not stable currently. I hope you will have chance to visit my country.
I thank you very much for your sponsorship, you not only give me a chance to have a better life, but also give me a warm home and an ideal learning environment. At KOTO, I found love care and love from older sisters and brothers.
